Our Classes
Fireflies Ballet and Fireflies Street
2-5 + years old and
3.5+ years old
Step into a world of imagination with The Fireflies Dance Adventures! Each week, children go on a magical journey, exploring exciting stories brought to life through movement, music, and dance.
Guided by our friendly Fireflies, little dancers discover the fundamentals of ballet/street dance in a playful and creative way. Through storytelling, rhythm, and adventure, children develop coordination, confidence, and a love for dance—while having so much fun they won’t even realise how much they’re learning!
Perfect for curious minds and energetic feet, The Fireflies Dance Adventures classes are a brand-new story waiting to unfold.
A perfect platform for any child who would like to progress to RAD examinations. Class presentations take place in the last class of each term.
RAD Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet
5-7 years old
With the use of an array of beautiful props and stories, children develop basic steps to demonstrate awareness of positions of the body; perform with an awareness of space; demonstrate control, co-ordination, elevation, appropriate movement dynamics and to perform expressively.
Children are given the opportunity to take formal RAD examinations.
Class presentations take place in the last class of each term.
RAD Ballet Graded Syllabi
7+ years old
The Graded syllabi provide a broad practical dance education developing technical, musical and performance skills. Through the use of musically inspired exercises and dances, the students will learn joy in movement, creative interpretation and a sense of performance quality.
Character dance is introduced. Character is the theatrical presentation of national dance using ethnic dance and music, which has been freely adapted for the theatre.
Students are given the opportunity to take formal RAD examinations.
Class presentations take place in the last class of each term.
Junior and Senior Street Dance
7+ years old
A fast and funky class using all the favourite pop tunes! Children learn to reproduce movement as well as learning, creating and performing choreography.
Class presentations take place in the last class of each term, and there are also opportunities to perform in shows and open days. We have three levels of class to progress in technique and performance.
